Welcome to our new renovation project in Alexandria, Virginia. Do not let the size fool you on this Cape Cod rambler, walking distance from the GW Parkway and Potomac River. Once we complete this renovation, this home will be a stunning five-bedroom, four-bath, 3,000 square foot oasis anyone will want to call home.
We wanted to keep the current beautifully hand-crafted and hand-built cabinets, so we will revitalize them with new paint. This will modernize the cabinets to today’s trends along with adding a gray peninsula that will be open to the living and dining area. This newly opened space will walk out into a screened-in porch you will be able to enjoy three seasons of the year.
The primary room has been expanded by taking some space from other areas in the floor. In the video we are sharing a great tip on how to do this, so make sure you tune in to hear what you can do to get some space in some of these older homes.
