RENOVATION UPDATE: PRICES LANE – BASEMENT & SUNROOM

Welcome to our second update on our renovation project in Alexandria, Virginia. This beautiful Cape Cod rambler is within walking distance of the GW Parkway and Potomac River. Once we complete this renovation, this home will be a stunning five-bedroom, four-bath, 3,000 square foot oasis anyone will want to call home.




Today we are sharing our newly configured lower-level basement which will become a grand family room when we are done. We have removed walls and ductwork to open the space and constructed a new staircase for a better flow that would fit in with our open concept design.


The fifth bedroom of this home has been framed in and we have installed an egress window to make this a 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home. This bedroom will be a stunning private retreat with an exposed brick wall and its own bathroom suite.


One of the cool features of this home is the added sunroom facing the large backyard. We are planning on polishing up the sunroom to make it a four-season living space you can enjoy all year round, as you view the beautifully landscaped yard. Imagine seeing all the seasons that Virginia has to offer in the privacy of your new home.
