CITY OF FALLS CHURCH – LIVE. EAT. PLAY.

Updated: Nov 25, 2021

Nestled between the hustle and bustle of Tyson’s Corner and the trendy neighborhoods of Arlington is the charming City of Falls Church. Home to Dutko|Ragen Homes & Investments, the City of Falls Church is one of our favorite Northern Virginia hot spots to live, eat, and play. With its quaint streets, good eats, and popular local entertainment, the City of Falls Church is a very desirable area to live. Many of the homes that we have sold in the City of Falls Church and surrounding area have sold quickly and for top dollar.

LIVE. EAT. PLAY.

So, what’s so great about the City of Falls Church? Location, location, location. It’s location is the perfect marriage between public transit and highway transportation. With access to both the East and West Falls Church Metro stations, a quick car ride to I-66 and I-495, and walkability to the downtown shops and restaurants, Falls Church is the ideal location for anyone who wants to live in a great community with an easy commute.

People who live in Falls Church love the community because of its varied home styles, good schools, great local eateries, and entertainment options. Popular home styles are Craftsman, Cape Cod, and Bungalow. Some of our favorite local eateries include Settle Down Easy Brewing Co., Rare Bird Coffee Roasters, Dogwood Tavern, and Plaka Grill. Additionally, the City of Falls Church hosts a variety of free community events and activities throughout the year.

THINGS TO DO

First, one of the city’s most popular community activities is it’s year-round Saturday farmer’s market. The award winning Falls Church Farmer’s Market is one of the most well-known markets in Northern Virginia. It is home to more than 50 vendors selling a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, meats, dairy products, and baked goods.

Next, if you’re looking for a fun, family festival, save the date for the annual Falls Church Fall Festival on September 14 from 10 am – 4 pm on City Hall grounds. Enjoy live entertainment, including a magician, food from local restaurants, a beer garden, children’s activities, and more! Admission is free; amusement rides and tasting tickets will be available for purchase.
